Konstantin Komarov is a retired Russian Special Forces Major, having served with both GRU and elite MVD Spetsnaz units, and is a decorated war veteran. He holds a PhD in Psychology, and continues to provide training and consulting services to various Russian military and Spetsnaz units. He was integrally involved in the development of Russia’s counter-terror tactics, including its terrorist-hostage negotiation techniques.

Konstantin has served as the principal negotiator in numerous terrorist-hostage sieges, and was part of the negotiating team at the Nord Ost Theater siege in Moscow in October 2002, where he developed psychological profiles on the identified terrorists, among his other duties. Konstantin is an expert in the management of fear in combat and is also a renowned master of small arms deployment.

Vladimir Vasiliev is regarded as one of the top experts of hand-to-hand combat and weapons defense in the world. His trademark improvisational style, speed, and fluidity has put him in a class of his own, and thousands attend his international seminars with the hope of gleaning his historic-level fighting genius.

After a decade of extensive service with the elite Special Operation Units in Russia, he moved to Canada in 1993 and founded the first school of Russian Martial Art outside of Russia - Systema Headquarters. He has since personally trained and certified well over 300 qualified Russian Martial Art instructors and schools worldwide and has created an extensive and award-winning instructional film collection (His YouTube channel is HERE).
