Summary
In this rare 3-day "knife-only" seminar, one of the foremost masters of wilderness survival will help you discover what it takes to evade capture and detection from hostile elements using minimal preparation.
As a master of survival, combat psychology, and Systema combatives, Konstantin brings with him many years of real-world wilderness combat and survival experience. He became renowned for training special forces soldiers operating in the North Caucasus region to greatly expand their zones of awareness to fight and survive more effectively, in a very short period of time.
This will be the first time Konstantin will be teaching this course in the U.S.
Experience more than 30 Hours of immersive hands-on training over 3 Days covering the following topics:
- Solo and team tactics with the expectation of rescue within 72 hours
- The Seven Priorities of survival
- Psychology of combat and evasion
- Camouflage and stealth movement
- Use of improvised tools and weapons
- Survival knots and lashings
- Firestarting and Evasion fires
- Navigation skills
- Strategic caching
- Anti-tracking techniques
- Close quarters combat and sentry removal
No experience is necessary, and the number of attendees is strictly limited due to the nature of the training.
Senior Instructor Kwan Lee will provide some supporting combatives training.
Timeframe
Check-in starts at 7:30AM on Friday, and training ends at 1:00PM on Sunday. IMPORTANT: If you are unable to stay the entire time, please do not register.
If you plan on attending the included lunch on Sunday, which starts at 1:00pm, please arrange for your return flight to be sometime in the late afternoon or evening.
For your convenience, you may camp out at the site on Thursday and Sunday nights.
Shelter
All participants must sleep outdoors onsite on Friday and Saturday nights. Commercial tents may be used before and after the seminar, but they are strongly discouraged during the seminar since students will construct and use improvised shelters throughout this experience.
Food and Water
Drinking water will be provided throughout the weekend.
Participants are responsible for bringing their own food and cooking tools. A basic fire pit will be available for boiling water and cooking food. Please be advised that lunch will be provided on Sunday, after the completion of the field training exercise.
There are a limited number of boxes of Mountain House freeze dried food available for purchase. Once these boxes are gone, this option will disappear. Each box is an additional $50 and contains ten 2-serving packages of quality freeze dried camping food in the following proportions: (3) Chicken Teriyaki with Rice, (2) Beef Stew, (3) Beef Stroganoff, (2) Lasagna with Meat Sauce. Other Information
This seminar is geared toward expanding the student's awareness and connection to the terrain and climate, so the usual amenities found in urban settings will not be available. There will be non-water toilet facilities and make-shift shower stations that may be used throughout the weekend. The site will be right next to a natural water source, which can be used for swimming, bathing (using non-toxic biodegradable soap), and obtaining shower water.
